We are CookieLegit, a team of happy Dutch professionals based in the center of Amsterdam. For over 10 years, we have been making it possible for companies to obtain, manage and document the consent of their website visitors.

Our CookieLegit solution makes it easy to install, activate and categorize the cookies on your website. You can customize the layout of the cookie banner yourself and you can set it for multiple languages. Most important: our cookie banner complies with the GDPR.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires companies to document each consent. At the same time, a company must be able to account for what user data he shares with embedded third-party services on his website and where in the world the user data is sent.

CookieLegit understands that GDPR laws can feel like a lot the handle. The EU Member States have compiled a general guide on obtaining consent for cookies. It says the following:

• Ask your visitors for their permission before storing cookies;
• Give visitors the option to decline the cookies;
• Give your visitors the option to change their choice afterward.
